Crypto liquidation price calculator: where does your trade get wiped?
At 10× leverage, a 10% move the wrong way can erase the whole position. See exactly where the exchange would close your trade — and check that your own stop gets there first.
How it works (isolated margin, simplified): long ≈ entry × (1 − 1/leverage + maintenance), short ≈ entry × (1 + 1/leverage − maintenance). Exchanges add fees, funding and their own tiers, so treat this as a close estimate and check your exchange's own number. Crypto leverage isn't offered to US retail traders on most regulated venues.
The rule: your stop must come first
Liquidation is the exchange closing your trade for you — at the worst moment, often with extra fees. A stop is you closing it on your terms. If your liquidation price sits before your stop, the plan can't work: lower the leverage or move the idea. At 10× leverage, a move of about 10% against you can wipe out the margin; at 50×, about 2%.
