Render (RENDER) explained: the GPU network token, and what moves it

Render connects people who need computer graphics power with people who have spare graphics cards. Because those same chips power AI, its chart often rides the AI mood.

What it is, briefly

The Render Network came out of OTOY, a graphics company founded by Jules Urbach. Its token first launched on Ethereum in 2017 as RNDR.

What it does: artists and studios need lots of GPU power to render 3D images and video. Render lets them pay node operators who have spare graphics cards. The network has also moved toward AI work.

In 2023 holders voted to move the token to Solana. The new token is called RENDER. Old RNDR could be upgraded to it.

Burn and mint: creators burn (destroy) RENDER to pay for jobs. Node operators are paid in newly minted RENDER, on a set schedule that shrinks over time. Heavy usage burns more; light usage burns less.

What moves it

When it's busiest

Weekday hours when Europe and the US overlap, roughly 8:00 am to noon ET, usually carry the most activity. Chip-company earnings often come out after the US stock close, around 4:00 pm ET, which can stir AI coins in the evening. Weekends are thinner.

Its personality

Reading it with our method

Check bitcoin's daily chart, then RENDER's. Mark the last places price turned around. Trade with RENDER's bigger direction.

AI headlines cause fast candles with long tails. Only a candle body closing past a turning point counts. See support and resistance for marking the levels that matter.

Size from the stop. Example with made-up numbers: risk $30, stop $0.75 away. $30 ÷ $0.75 = 40 RENDER. The position size calculator does this for you. A math example, not a promise.

Questions

What is Render used for?

Paying for GPU computing power, mainly for 3D rendering and increasingly AI work. Creators burn RENDER to pay for jobs, and node operators earn RENDER.

Is Render on Solana or Ethereum?

The main token moved to Solana in 2023 and is called RENDER. The older RNDR token was on Ethereum.

What is burn and mint equilibrium?

Users burn tokens to pay for work, while new tokens are minted to pay operators on a set schedule. Supply changes depend on how much the network is used.

Why does Render move with AI news?

GPUs power both graphics and AI, so traders often group RENDER with AI-themed coins and trade it on the same news.
